CiPiO operates according to the “white label” principle. This means that we can receive parcels from ALL delivery services. However, we do not have contractual partnerships with them.
We only handle the receipt of the parcels delivered, just like a letterbox. After successful receipt, you as a resident will receive a unique PIN code to collect your parcel.
We do not carry out deliveries ourselves. It may therefore occasionally happen that something does not go entirely according to plan.
Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions.

Did you receive a confirmation from the delivery driver, but not from CiPiO? There could be a few reasons for this.
We use the contact details provided to us by your landlord or property owner. If you’re not registered there, the delivery driver won’t be able to deliver anything for you to the CiPiObox (and we won’t be able to send you a message either).
We use the contact details provided to us by your property manager or landlord. Our messages are sent to the contact details we have on record. Check with your property manager or landlord whether your details have been recorded correctly.
If something is delivered to the CiPiObox in your name, a message containing a collection code will be sent to you automatically. Are your details registered correctly, but you still haven’t received a collection code? Then the parcel must have been left elsewhere.
We always try to communicate collection codes in two ways: by text message and by email. Haven’t received a text message? Check your email too! And don’t forget to check your spam folder...
It may happen that, in their haste, the delivery driver delivered the parcel not to you but to a possible housemate. In that case, they will also have received the collection code.
It may sound strange, but we regularly come across parcels with incorrect addressing. So when placing your order, make sure you’ve entered your full and correct address! There’s a good chance the delivery driver will otherwise deliver your parcel elsewhere or return it.
Sometimes you may want to collect a parcel and find an empty compartment. Don’t panic! Parcels very rarely go missing. The following has probably happened.
The delivery driver probably made an error when choosing the compartment size and accidentally created a transaction for you for the wrong compartment. Your parcel may therefore be in a different compartment. Contact your administrator or landlord to check this for you.
The delivery driver created a transaction for you for a compartment, but for some reason did not leave your parcel in it after all. If, after checking with your administrator or landlord, it has not been found elsewhere in the CiPiObox either, please contact the delivery driver.
When your parcel is delivered to the CiPiObox, we’ll send a one-time, unique PIN code by email and/or mobile number so you can collect your parcel. We use the details we receive from your property manager or landlord for this. If you have a new phone number or email address where our messages should be delivered, please update them with your property manager or landlord. Your details will then be automatically synchronised with our database.
Yes, that is certainly possible, provided that your housemate’s details are also known to us via your property manager or landlord. If your housemate is not registered there, we will send the delivery notifications to the occupant known to us if the delivery driver nevertheless delivers it to your address.
That’s not a problem, but of course we want to have an empty compartment available again as soon as possible for new deliveries. Your property manager or landlord regularly checks whether parcels have been left for too long and will send you a reminder to collect yours. If you still haven’t collected it after one reminder, you’ll receive a second reminder. If you still haven’t collected your parcel after that, the property manager or landlord will clear the compartment. Your parcel will be removed and stored elsewhere until you come forward.
It works best if each parcel is placed in a separate compartment. However, sometimes delivery drivers put multiple parcels for one recipient in a single compartment. Even though there are then multiple parcels in one compartment, we only send one collection code. If you accidentally take out only one parcel and close the compartment, you can reopen it via the screen. After a short while, this option expires, and the one-time collection code will also no longer work to reopen the compartment.
If you were unable to remove the second parcel, please contact your administrator or landlord to have the compartment opened for you again.
