A CiPiObox does not need to be purchased or financed. With our rental model, a residential building has access to a complete package solution, while hardware, software, service and maintenance remain part of one continuous service.
This means no investment in the machine, no separate financing and no separate agreements for software, service or maintenance. Costs are predictable, and technical continuity remains with the parties that developed the hardware and technology.
This means parcel logistics can be added to a building as a permanent facility, without first requiring an investment budget for the locker.
The CiPiObox is made available for a fixed monthly fee. This means the investment does not have to be paid in full upon installation.
Hardware, software and services are organised within a single model, making it clear in advance which structural costs are associated with the package provision.
Technical servicing and maintenance of the CiPiObox are included. So, if you experience a technical problem, you only need to contact one party.
The physical machine, the underlying technology and the support remain part of the same service throughout the term.
In property development, ownership of the installation can be important. For example, a developer may want to be able to hand over the building in full upon completion, without remaining a party to an ongoing lease agreement.
In that case, the CiPiObox can also be purchased. The hardware becomes part of the project and can be transferred together with the building upon completion.
Software and services will still be required for subsequent use. The user organisation, such as a homeowners’ association, then enters into a subscription agreement and SLA with Last Mile Logistics. Hardware servicing and maintenance can be purchased separately from VDL Services on an ad hoc basis.
Custom solutions are developed and delivered specifically for an application or client. These solutions are therefore sold.
Depending on the application, appropriate agreements are also made regarding software, platform services, support, and service and maintenance.
