Most parcel deliveries follow the standard process in full: deliver, register, inform the resident and collect. But a residential building is constantly changing. Residents move, details change, parcels sometimes remain there for longer and a delivery may not go as intended.
Good management therefore does not mean that someone is constantly occupied with the parcel locker. Rather, it means that the daily process runs as automatically as possible, with sufficient insight and options to intervene in a targeted manner when necessary.

The CiPiObox automates a large part of the delivery process. The system links deliveries to residents, records transactions, sends collection notifications and keeps track of which compartments are in use. This means that large numbers of parcels can be processed without anyone else needing to manage them.
Delivery and collection ultimately still involve people. A delivery driver may act differently than intended when in a hurry, an oversized parcel may be left outside the locker, or a resident may have a question about what happened at the locker.
Automation takes away much of the daily work. But for situations where something deviates, options are still needed to check afterwards what actually happened.
