The CiPiO parcel locker is the solution for apartment complex TalentSquare
In August 2021, the CiPiO parcel locker, the CiPiObox, was installed in apartment complex TalentSquare in Tilburg. TalentSquare is a complex with more than 800 living spaces for students in the center of Tilburg which are being rented out and managed by SSH. SSH student housing is a housing corporation that focuses on affordable rooms in various cities, including Rotterdam, Tilburg and Utrecht. The management and rental of the living spaces of TalentSquare are the responsibility of Souffian Toulliss. Souffian has been working as a location manager for SSH in Tilburg for nine years and is happy to tell you how he experiences the CiPiObox and how the parcel locker has been beneficial to the apartment complex.
The growing parcel flow caused frustration
“Before a CiPiObox was placed at TalentSquare last year, I experienced a lot of traffic and many movements in and around the complex. This was mainly due to the image where many delivery agents were constantly carrying their parcels for different residents. Because many residents are not at home at the time of delivery, parcels were regularly delivered to the neighbours. This was not always clearly communicated to the recipient of the parcel, which led to many questions. Where is my parcel? Resident X has accepted my parcel, could you write to him or her? These questions often distracted me from my work. I also noticed a lot of frustration among residents because they had to look for their parcel."

Because the delivery agents of all parcel services can place their parcels in the CiPiObox, delivery is easier and more efficient. As a result, I receive far fewer questions regarding parcel delivery from residents and I can focus on the important tasks of my work. “Residents and delivery agents like to use the CiPiObox. In my opinion, the CiPiObox is the solution for simple parcel delivery at apartment complexes. My expectation is that the parcel flow will continue to grow in the coming years, making a structural solution even more important. I think that in a few years a large number of apartment complexes, besides SSH, will have a parcel locker.”

These compartments have a loadable weight of 35 kg per compartment. The color used is RAL 7016. In addition, the CiPiObox has lighting and a security camera. Only a socket is required for connection.
