Collaboration of Vercoma and CiPiO for a carefree organized entrance to apartment complexes
Vercoma Communication Systems and CiPiO parcel machines are going to work together to organize entrances to apartment complexes in one fell swoop. Both companies are specialists in their field and, with this unique collaboration, offer residents the opportunity to create a safe and organized entrance. Under the name Access & Parcels, the two companies will offer integrated solutions for access management and parcel reception.
The CiPiObox as a solution for parcel deliveries in apartment complexes
The continued growth of home deliveries poses major challenges for residents of complexes. Having to stay at home for reception, nuisance to neighbours, packages that disappear or wandering deliverers are just a few examples. CiPiO supplies the safe solution to solve these problems with its white label parcel lockers (the CiPiObox). Once placed in the entrance of a complex, any delivery service can easily and securely deliver packages there and residents can pick them up when it suits them.
Access control management and door communication of the future
Door communication and access control systems are a very important part of the living comfort and sense of security in residential complexes. From 2023, Vercoma and CiPiO will work together to offer products and services that completely unburden residents of complexes at the front door. During the Bouwbeurs 2023 (6 to 10 February in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht) they will show their scoop under the name Access & Parcels, in which access management and parcel reception are integrated. "In addition to access control management and door intercom, it is now also possible for residents to receive packages simply and safely," says Arjan Schouten, Sales & Service manager at Vercoma.
“CiPiO has succeeded in getting a parcel deliverer checked, based on a correct barcode, and once through a closed front door. He can then easily and always lose his package. After all, you don't want anyone to be able to walk in as a so-called delivery person when the front door is closed,” adds Ed Klijsen of CiPiO.
The best of two specialists
“The great thing about this collaboration is that developers, investors or VvEs can opt for the integrated Access & Parcels solution, but also keep the freedom not to do so,” says Arjan Schouten. “For example, with Access & Parcels we offer clients the option of choosing the combination of two specialists, but they are not bound by a lock-in if one of the services needs to be changed in the future.”
Both Vercoma and CiPiO have their own extensive service and maintenance services that, if necessary, can be quickly on site throughout the Netherlands.
